First: Organization Name: Iraqi Widows Organization

Second: Organization Location: The Location of the Iraqi Widows Organization is in Diwanyah Governorate and its address is Al-korneesh street in Al-oroba quarter next to radio Diwanyah FM and it has a branch in Baghdad practicing the same activities to achieve the objectives which the branch opened for and the organization has the right to open multi-branches in the Iraqi governorates and outside Iraq.

Third: The organization Nature: The Iraqi Widows Organization form by the organization chief and its deputy and the administrative council in the organization to support the Iraqi women in general and the Iraqi widows in particular since Iraq had many wars in its history so that so many families had lost their fathers and so many Iraqi women had lost their husbands and so many Iraqi children became orphans and lost their supporters so it was so necessary to establish special facility to support these damaged families in Iraq , and after the fallen of the last regime it becomes possible to establish such facilities to serve humanity and damaged families in these difficult circumstances which Iraq has been through so Iraqi Widows Organization established in Diwanyah in 9/1/2004.

Fourth: The Organization Objectives: The main objective of the organization is to raise the widows' reality to be participant and productive member in building the civil society regardless the religion, ethnic or race and the qualitative objective of the organization is to provide the material and psychological support to the widows.

Fifth: Objectives Achievement methodology:

1- Submitting a study counting the number of the widows in the city and register them in the organization data base and issuing to them Ids.

2 – Grant a loan to the widows between (50-250) thousands Iraqi Dinners so that they can use them to start small projects and then they can pay them back monthly with a benefit of 4% yearly.

3- Longing to make the widow acquire the vocational skills and the   experience throughout training courses inside the organization like  a training course in sewing , computer skills , reading, writing ,cooking ……etc.

4- Submitting projects and local markets so that the widows can display their own products in away that the organization provides job opportunities to ensure a stable monthly incomes, e.g. an opening a kindergarten for the kids, internet café, Chechen fields, flowers growing.

5- Trying to get the authorizations in the different economical activities from the Iraqi and the foreign companies so that the organization has the financial ability that contributes in supporting the organization activities.         

6- Celebrating yearly after the organization foundation to choose the typical widow and presenting gifts in the feasts particularly to the widows who unable to work.

7- Attending the conferences inside and outside the country which their activities are concerned with the organization objectives that leads to develop the work and make it better.

8-Taking care of the orphans and presenting material and physical aids and developing their skills throughout their participation in a vocational training course.

Sixth: Organization Material Resources:

1-      Donations and humanitarian aids

2-      Federal helps and the material gifts

3-      Organization incomes from its participation in the humanitarian, cultural occasions and in the commercial and industrial exhibitions.

4-      Organization incomes from investing the organization money

5-      Organization incomes from its implementation for the project which the organization gets from the donors

 

Seventh : Administration committee : they are group of who ahs the plural authority for planning to the organization policy and observing it and monitoring its implementation and this group is elected democratically from whom the organization internal system conditions are fit with and also are fit with the electoral conditions and the administrative committee consists of eight members and the chief assistant and a secretary and five members, the organization holds one meeting every month and also when it is necessary to keep activities of the organization going. The personnel of the administration committee are:

-          Dr. Raja H. Al-Khuzai – Organization Chief.

-          Dr. Aliaa A. Al-badry – Organization Chief Deputy.

-          Dr. Dalia F. Al-Naeeb – Administration Committee Member

-          Salama A. Sagban – Organization Chief Secretary

-          Suhad A. Sagban – Organization Accountant

-          Mona A. Hanoon – Organization Accountant Assistant

-          Hana A. Hanoon – Organization Clerk

-          Ghassan A Salih – Organization Reporting Officer

-          Sundis M Abid - Administration Committee Member

-          Resmiah A Hussan - Administration Committee Member

 

Eighth: Organization Chief Authority: (Dr. Raja H. Al-Khuzai) has all the needed authority so as to perform all the organization activities in a way to achieve the organization humanity objectives through:

-          Ordering for paying in the administration committee conferences

-          Leading the administration committee conferences and making distinct invitation

-          Representing the organization inside and outside Iraqi

-          Signing and conforming the contracts

-          Conforming the financial and administrative decisions (with the administration committee members)

-          Hiring and accepting the new members (with the administration committee members)     

-          Signing the issued the administration committee members IDs and the board council members IDs

 

Ninth: Organization Chief Deputy Authority (Dr. Aliaa Al-badry)

      

-          She has all the organization chief authority in case of the absence of the organization chief or her sickness or her resign until holding the new electoral conference

-          The Deputy represents the organization officially and following the organization paper work in the federal facilities and distributing the responsibilities

-          The deputy is responsible after the chief for the organization accountancy

 

Tenth: Administration Committee Conferences: they come according to the organization chief invitation at least once a week to discuss the organization affairs and draw its directions and when it is needed and also to set up the organization program and to discuss and to decide its financial budget and to check its records which are important and the decisions of the committee are taken by the absolute majority and if they are equal it goes to the side that the chief with and the labor system of the organization is by hiring not by electing

 

Eleventh: Affiliation Organization Conditions: Membership: All Iraqis have the right to enter to the organization as employees or volunteers and all the female widows have the right to enter the organization as members and their IDs issued according to these specific conditions:

- They have to have Iraqi nationality and ensure that will commit to the internal system of the organization

- They have at least finished their high school study except for widows

- They should not have been convicted

- They should not have been Baathee

 Twelfth: Losing Affiliation:

Losing membership in the organization for these cases:

- Quitting or resigning

- Firing

- Commitment

  If the member could not commit the organization financial needed commitment and disconnect the organization activities

 Thirteenth: The Administrative Structure of the Organization:

1-       The administration committee: It takes care of the administrative affairs and organizing issues for all the labors and volunteers.

2-       The financial committee: It takes care of the accountancy administration

3-       The Project Committee: It takes care of administrating the projects

4-       The General Relationships Committee: It takes care of broadcasting the organization curriculum vitae and links the cooperation bridges with other organization inside and outside Iraq

5-       Internal Observation Committee: It takes care of monitoring and checking the financial issues and auditing the internal accountancy of the organization and also checking all the organization properties

6-       Legal Committee: It takes care of all the organization legal affairs

 

Fourteen: Responsibilities Distribution:

1-The organization chief authority is mentioned in item eight above

2-The organization chief deputy authority is mentioned in item ninth above

3-The authority of the financial member as follows:

a- She observes the financial records of the organization

b- She observes on organizing the paying orders after they are certified by the organization chief

C-Presenting the final financial reports and submitting the budgets of the coming years

4-The authority of informational and cultural member of the organization as follows:

A-Working on showing the organization activities through the media

B-She is responsible for organizing the cultural and informational activities of the organization and coordinating these activities

C-She is the official spokeswoman of the organization.

D-She is responsible for submitting the yearly work plan of the organization for the galleries, festivals and exhibitions that the organization holds and inviting the participants and archiving and saving the activities and the documents

5-The authorities of the organization training member as follows:

A-She is responsible for holding the training courses

B-She is responsible for submitting the work plan for the training courses and observing them practically

C- She is responsible for the organization storages

6-The monitoring, planning and administrating projects committee and its authority as follows:

A-Presenting programmed plans for the organization strategy according the objectives and the instructions of the organization departments and its offices and the implementation methodology

B-Submitting the projects suggestions to the administration committee to get certification to accept them and sending them to the donors

C-Signing and monitoring the contracts and dealing with the technical implementing sides and consulting the experts and coordinating the work with the organization as implementer

D-Coordinating with the financial department in the organization to cover the project implementation financially

E-Direct administrating of the project implementations in coordination with the concerned departments of the organization

F-The agreement on rejecting the projects according to the organization ability after coordinating with the other departments

7-The authorities of the general and social relationships member of the organization:

A- She is responsible for organizing the traveling and visiting and holding the ceremonies in the different occasions

B- She is the connecting point of the board council or committee with the organization

8-The legal committee: and its responsibilities and its authorities:

A-Achieving the organization legal policy according the legalization which are followed in Iraq and also what is concerning the organization internationally

B-The legal representation for the organization federally and non federally inside and outside Iraq

C-Monitoring the decisions which are issued by the administration council

D-coordinating with the financial administration in what concerning the organization properties and money

E-Defending the organization rights and humanitarian, social and economical activities with all society classes

F-Submitting the legal contracts and agreements and the legal protocols and the agreements memos of the organization which are conducted with other sides
